Faults

A fault reaches the office.

A reported fault appears under Needs attention, and by default it is emailed to the office.

How it works

Step by step,
from start to finish.

  1. Set up your forms in the office

Build a form of your own, or start from one in the library.

  2. Operators complete them on the phone

With the safety gate switched on, the day’s forms are completed before the day’s work is shown.

  3. A fault is reported with a description

A form that reports an equipment fault asks for a description of it.

  4. The office sees the fault

It is listed under Needs attention in Operations, and emailed by default.

Your questions

What you need to know.

Can forms be required before work starts?

Yes, as a setting for your organisation. With the safety gate switched on, operators complete the day’s forms before their work is shown.

Can I write my own forms?

Who is told about a fault?

The owners, admins and managers set to receive that alert, and any extra email addresses you have added.

Where do I review submitted forms?

On the Daily checks page, which lists every submitted form and filters by operator, machine, vehicle, date and status.

How often can a form run?

A form can be set to run daily, weekly, per job or at any time.

Is the office told by phone as well as by email?

Yes. The owners, admins and managers who receive the email also get a phone notification.
